MQM Co-ordination Committee condemns the incident of looting in a bus of Dow University

MQM Co-ordination Committee has strongly condemned the incident of looting in a bus of Dow University of Health Sciences. In a statement, the Co-ordination Committee said that there was a grave increase in the incidents of looting and robbery in the city. Snatching of mobile phones, cash, jewellery and other valuables had become commonplace while the government seemed utterly helpless in controlling the situation.
The Co-ordination Committee said that looting in a students’ bus in broad daylight has exposed the tall claims of the government regarding the restoration of law and order situation in city.
The Co-ordination Committee appealed to Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah, the Sindh Cabinet and officials of other law-enforcing agencies to take serious notice of the incident of looting in the bus of Dow University and bring the criminals to book.
The Co-ordination Committee also demanded the Sindh Government to take steps for protecting students, particularly female students on urgent basis.
