Altaf Hussain asks PTI and PML (N) to show restraint

MQM leader Altaf Hussain has appealed to workers, office-bearers and sympathizers of PML (N) and PTI to show restraint the occasion of the PTI protest in Faisalabad and keep the demonstration peaceful at every cost.
Mr Hussain said, “Holding protest demonstration is the right of opposition and the ruling party must accept it as a part of democracy. No side should make this protest violent as it would negate the democratic norms.”
Mr Hussain also appealed to the business community of Faisalabad not to force small business owners and shopkeepers to shut down their business against their will.
He also appealed to the print and electronic media to refrain from publishing and broadcasting one-sided statements and news. He asked them to inform the real situation to the nation in the light of facts.
Mr Hussain hoped that the PTI and PML (N) and their workers and office-bearers would pay heed to his submissions for peace and for the sake of general public.
