MQM celebrates “Sindhi Topi-Ajrak Day” on the occasion of Sindhi Cultural Day at Lal Qila ground Azizabad. Sindhi Topis and Ajraks were distributed to the participants on behalf of Mr. Altaf Hussain, the founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM).
Talking on the occasion, MQM Deputy Convener Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that Sindhi culture and tradition was nearly 5000 years old. He said it is really amazing that people belong to various communal background are anticipating in the program.

Dr Siddiqui said that Mr. Hussain wanted people to respect each others’ cultures and traditions and celebrate them to let them feel love to their culture and tradition. He said that MQM would spread love and tolerance in Sindh and that love would not be vanished by some so-called politicians.
He said that today’s celebration was aimed to minimize the dichotomy between the permanent residents of the province. He said that Sindh could only go to the path of success when the resources would be equally distributed among the deserving elements without any discrimination.
Dr Siddiqui said Mr. Hussain is the true preacher of Shah Latif’s message of peace and wants to spread the message all over the country. He said that the miscreants who wanted to disturb peace and terrorize people in Sindh, could not succeed and MQM would protect every corner of the province from such elements.
