Rasheed Godial welcomes the appointment of Justice Sardar Raza as Chief Election Commissioner

Parliamentary of MQM in National Assembly Rasheed Godial has welcomed the appointment of Rasheed Godial as the Chief Election Commissioner. He said that the unanimity of political parties on the appointment of Justice Sardar Raza as CEC was heartening.
Mr Godial congratulated Justice Raza on becoming the CEC. He said holding the local government elections and removing reservations of political parties need urgent attention of the CEC.
Mr Godial hoped that Justice Raza would act independently as the CEC and make the election process transparent in order to reflect the true wishes of the people.
