Altaf Hussain slams extra-judicial killing of MQM worker
 Posted on: 12/1/2014
The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement, Mr. Altaf Hussain strongly condemned extra-judicial killing of his worker Muhammad Sajid by police personnel.
In a statement issued from London Secretariat, MQM Chief demanded President Mamnoon Hussain, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, and Governor Sindh Dr Ishraul Ebad Khan to take action against the involved police personnel and conducted a high-level probe in the case. He said that he was going to Dubai on Monday’s morning but police arrested him near airport parking then his tortured body was found in Malir stream.
Mr. Hussain heavily condemned the incident and said that the extra-judicial killing was extremely condemnable. He said that even if Muhammad Sajid was guilty of any lawlessness, should be brought to the justice and should let the court decide his fate rather killing him in such a inhuman and unlawful way.
He said that the security personnel were to arrest criminals and there were courts to sentence them for their crimes. He said that extra-judicial killings were not allowed in constitution by any civilian, police or security personnel.
Mr. Hussain demanded Chief Justice of Supreme Court Justice Nasirul Mulk to take suo motu action against such brutal acts of security personnel and guilty should be punished hard. He offered his deep and sorrowful condolence to the bereaved family and prayed Almighty Allah to confer high eternal rank to the sad demise.
