Right Livelihood Award: Altaf Hussain felicitates Asma Jahangir

The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM), Mr. Altaf Hussain felicitated renowned lawyer Asma Jahangir for being honored of “Right Livelihood Award.”
 In a statement issued from London Secretariat, MQM Chief said Asma’s award is an honour for the entire nation, especially for women. Referring to Malala Yusufzai’s Noble Award, he said that “Right Livelihood Award” of Pakistani female lawyer, reflected that women in the Pakistan strived hard for prosperity and development of the country.
Mr. Hussain said that Asma’s struggles, for the betterment of country’s women and their status, were phenomenal and always been appreciated and regarded with reverence. He said Asma’s award is another great achievement of Pakistani and he congratulated the entire nation, including expatriates.
