Altaf Hussain condemns terrorist’s attack on polio volunteers

The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM), Mr. Altaf Hussain strongly condemned the firing incident by terrorists on polio workers van, which left four polio workers dead and several injured in Quetta.
In a statement issued from London Secretariat, MQM Chief said that by targeting polio workers on various places, the terrorists tried to handicap the entire nation and to make the future suspend on clutches. The miscreants kept trying to propagate negatively against polio campaign and polio workers.
Mr. Hussain vividly appreciated polio volunteers for their services to humanity despite the threat to their lives. He prayed Almighty Allah to confer high eternal rank to the sad demises and bestow early and complete recovery of the injured. He also condoled the bereaved families and solaced them to bear the irreparable losses.
He demanded Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Chief Minister Balochistan Dr Abdul Malik Baloch to arrest all the accomplice terrorists immediately. He said that the authorities, who were responsible for that criminal negligence, should be punished hard and the remuneration of polio volunteers should be increased.
