The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has expressed his deep grief and sorrow on the sad demise of Mohajir Rabita Council president Yaqoob Bandhani.
Paying rich tributes Mr Hussain said that late Yaqoob Bandhani spent all his life struggling for the rights of the oppressed Mohajirs. He continued to spread the message of the movement among Mohajirs elders from the platform of the MRC in spite of his old age.
Mr Hussain said that his demise was not only a great loss for the MRC but the Mohajirs as whole who have lost a kind person. He said that he was personally grieved on the death of Yaqoob Bandhani.
Mr Hussain extended his sympathies to the grieving family members, members of the MRC and prayed Allah to shower His blessings on the departed soul.
