Dr Farooq Sattar assures full support to Haji Abdul Qayyum of Hazara Qaumi Jirga

All legitimate demands of the mourners should be accepted without further delay
Deputy Convener of the Co-ordination Committee of the MQM telephoned the head of the Hazara Qaumi Jirga Haji Abdul Qayyum and expressed solidarity with the mourners protesting on the Alamdar Road in Quetta. He assured Haji Abdul Qayyum full support for the acceptance of the legitimate demands of the mourners. Dr Sattar offered heartfelt condolences on behalf of MQM leader Mr Altaf Hussain and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
Dr Sattar told Haji Abdul Qayyum that Mr Hussain and the workers of the MQM were grieved at the loss of lives in Quetta due to bomb blasts. He said that it was unmitigated callousness on the part of the government and other political and religious parties not to take notice of the sit-in that has been continuing for many hours. He urged on President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf and Interior Minister Rehman Malik to take immediate notice of the protest demonstration of the mourners with the dead bodies of the people killed in deadly blasts in Quetta. He said that the legitimate demands of the mourners should be accepted without delay.
