On the directives of the founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM), Mr. Altaf Hussain, Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation (KKF) has set up a centralized relief camp for the famine-hit Tharis in Karachi.
An MQM delegation led by Deputy Conveners Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and Dr Nusrat Shaukat, comprising of other members Coordination Committee Wasay Jalil and Haider Abbas Rizvi. While visiting the camp, Dr Siddiqui directed the camp in-charge and volunteers to provide best facilities to the victims.
He said MQM’s only aim is to serve humanity and provide basic facilities to the deprived and unprivileged people. He said Altaf Hussain’s political philosophy is to serve people without any discrimination of race, sect, region and religion.
Dr Siddiqui said that KKF volunteers always prepared to serve their countrymen, whenever, they needed most. He said them that by serving Famine-hit Tharis, they not only getting the prayers of the sufferers but also getting blessing of God and it is ensured.
