There is honour in bowing down for the sanctity of institutions: Altaf Hussain

I respect the judiciary and other institutions from the core of my heart
The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has said that he respects judiciary and all other institutions from the core of his heart. “I believe that there is honour in bowing down in deference to the sanctity of institutions.” He said this while talking to the Co-ordination Committee, Senators, MNAs, MPAs, lawyers and office-bearers of different wings of the MQM on telephone.
Mr Hussain said, “Today’s decision gives us the lesson that Allah does not like haughtiness and vainglorious attitude. Allah likes submission and humility. Greatness is for Allah alone”
He told the MQM office-bearers that there was no harm in withdrawing from a position if it had the potential to create conflict and collision. “Those who are not conceited do not hesitate from bowing down and those who submit for avoiding conflict and collision cannot be called lowly.”
He said, “We believe in resolving all issues through mutual understanding but a wrong picture is depicted about the MQM in the public.”
All the office-bearers, elected representatives and lawyers congratulated Mr Hussain on the discharging of the contempt notice by the Supreme Court. They said, “You have demonstrated your respect for the constitution, law and the judiciary by tendering unconditional apology.”
Mr Hussain congratulated everyone and said that it was the victory of the oppressed people of the country. He congratulated Barrister Dr Farogh Naseem and other members of the lawyer’s panel.
Mr Hussain asked the workers and office-bearers to subdue their ego for a greater cause and work with each other in a cordial manner.
