Fateha and recitation of the Holy Quran would be offered for the martyred workers
The Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has announced to observe a day on mourning on the martyrdom of MQM workers and sympathizers in the blast near Ayesha Manzil in Federal B Area. Mr Altaf Hussain, the founder and leader of the MQM, has endorsed the decision of the Co-ordination Committee. The committee said that all organizational activities of the MQM throughout the country would remain suspended tomorrow and fateha and recitation of the Holy Quran would be offered for the deceased workers.
The Co-ordination Committee made it clear that business activities would continue and public transport would run as usual. Shops and business centres would remain open. Mr Hussain announced two lacks rupees for each martyred worker and directed the Co-ordination Committee, the Tanzeemi Committee and the Medical Aid Committee of the MQM to provide full assistance to the injured. He demanded of the Sindh government to provide compensation to the people killed and injured in the blast..........
