The Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has strongly condemned the brutal murder of a brother by armed bandits when he tried to stop them from harassing his sister. It said that the cruel murder of Shahzaib near the Country Club within the remit of Darakhshan Police Station is the outcome of the feudal mindset. It said that the murder of Shahzaib when he tried to stop some people from molesting his sister has jolted the people particularly the younger generation. It appealed to the human rights organizations to raise their voice against the brutal killing.
The Co-ordination Committee sympathized with the bereaved family and demanded President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Dr Ishratul Ebad and Chief Minister Sindh to take serious notice of the callous murder and bring the perpetrators to justice.
