MQM APPLAUDS EFFORTS BEING MADE FOR THE RELEASE OF PAKISTANI CREWMEN

CO-ORDINATION COMMITTEE PRAISES GOVENOR ISHRAT-UL-EBAD, CPLC CHIEF AHMED CHINOY AND HUMAN RIGHTS LEADER ANSAR BURNEY FOR THEIR EFFORTS

Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has applauded the efforts being made by Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad, CPLC chief Mr Ahmed Chinoy and human rights leader Mr Ansar Burney for the release of the Pakistani crewmen on MV Albedo being held hostage by the Somali pirates. The hoped that the efforts being made for the release of the hostages would soon result in their safe arrival.
The Co-ordination Committee said that the families of the Pakistani crewmen in the captivity of the pirates were in a state of extreme mental agony, and they were eager to meet their loved-ones soon. The Pakistani crewmen hail from different cities of Pakistan and the efforts being made by Governor Ebad, Mr Chinoy and Mr Burney show that they believe in humanity and their hearts were warmed for their Pakistani brethren in distress.
The Co-ordination Committee expressed sympathies to the stricken families and hoped that they would soon reunite with their loved-ones
