Altaf Hussain’s book “Philosophy of Love” launched

The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM), Mr. Altaf Hussain said that Pakistan and India should live with peace, and despite threatening to apt atomic options both the neighbours should respect each other.
Talking on the launching ceremony of English version of his book “Philosophy of Love,” he said that people had to tolerate each other to resolve their issues and they should also promote love to eliminate prevailing hatred and fury. He said, “Justice and equality reside, wherever, love exists and we can feel the pain and adversity of others, if being in love.”
Mr. Hussain said that love was a very powerful expression that it could cross all the limits of kinship, religion, and patriotism. He stated that the children were misguided by being taught of manipulated history of the country, even Allama Iqbal was also wrongly propagated though he was a patriotic and strongly believed in united India.

He said that Quaid-e-Azam also supported united India and that was the reason, he first joined All India National Congress but soon after knowing the prejudices of Hindus, he joined All India Muslim League and demanded a separate state for the then Indian Muslims. He said that Quaid-e-Azam was forced to support the decision of Indian partition.

Mr. Hussain said that some extremist elements said that no non-Muslims should be allowed to live here in Pakistan; he then asked the people what they would do, if the same decision would have been taken by the British and American governments. He said that unfortunately children were being taught hateful literatures to manipulate their minds.

He asked that which of the verse or Hadith taught people to conduct suicide attacks in mosques, Imam Bargahs, markets, army installations, police and FC personnel. He said that the world had already reached at moon and the nation still fought for sighting the moon at every religious festive.

Mr. Hussain said that the killings of Punjabi speaking labourers were strongly condemnable but what about the killings of innocent Baloch. He asked the participants that could a poor knock the door of Supreme Court of Pakistan for getting justice. He said, “If we remove our prejudicial thoughts than we can emerge as a nation, but unfortunately, everyone wants to be Tarzan or Gullo Butt and there was no tolerance among the people.

The MQM Chief also prayed Almighty Allah to do some miracle to spread love and tolerance, to remove prejudicial hatred, and to tie people in a chain of love. He thanked all the participants and appreciated president MQM Punjab Mian Atique and organizing committee for arranging such a successful programme.
