Kh. Izhar condemns for not paying Hindu employees salaries

The MQM Deputy Parliamentary Leader Khawaja Izharul Hassan strongly condemned Minister of Local Government for not paying the salaries of Hindu employees on Dewali Festival and termed it as discrimination with the poor employees of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation.
In a statement issued, the MQM Deputy Leader in Sindh Assembly said that Dewali was a joyful festival of Hindus and to deprive of their salaries on such an occasion reflected the discriminatory attitude of Minister of Local Government. He said that there was an outrage among poor employees for being deprived of their fundamental right to celebrate their religious festive.
He said that in the past when the minister and mayor belonged to MQM, they served people without any racial, ethnic and other prejudices. He demanded the government to pay salaries of Hindu employees on the occasion of Dewali and stopped the discriminatory attitudes with the minorities.
