The MQM Deputy Convener Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that the government and ruling elite cunning divided people to rule, and the same thing did with Sindh to divide it into urban and rural.
While addressing at a general workers meeting, he said that Mr. Hussain eliminated loathes and hatred, and spread love for all. He said in response, “We always receive deceptions and betrayal. He said that the representatives of rural Sindh, were all feudal lords and tribal chiefs and they intriguingly confiscated all the rights of their innocent voters.
Mr. Siddiqui while remembering September 30th tragic incident of Hyderabad, said that the killings of the children of founders of the country would never be forgotten. He said that the oppressors cunningly claimed that 60 percent of total budget fund allocated to urban Sindh.
Member Coordination Committee Abdul Haseeb, STC in-charge Umar Qureshi, Rashid Bhaya, Zonal in-charge Naveed Shamsi and others also attended the programme. The Deputy Convener said that people of Hyderabad always stood with Mr. Altaf Hussain and due to Hussain’s continuous struggle people would reach their destination.
