Altaf Hussain directs Rabita Committee to start social welfare programmes

The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM), Mr. Altaf Hussain directed the Coordination Committee to observe “Neat & Tidy Week” and also began social welfare works to facilitate people.
Mr. Altaf Hussain, while talking to the MQM Coordination Committee Pakistan, discussed various social issues, including lack of health & sanitation facilities, electricity theft and other social crimes. He also suggested the resolutions of those issues and directed the Coordination Committee to take appropriate action.
He said that to build a healthy society, there needed to eliminate basic social crimes and their reasons. He said that they had to help themselves to resolve various fundamental issues to provide facilitations to the people.
Mr. Hussain directed to the Coordination Committee to observe “Hafta Safai” and set up fruit stalls on reasonable prices to facilitate the Karachiites and people of other cities of Sindh. He also expressed his grave concerns over the use of Pan Parag, Gutka, Menpuri and other injurious things, especially by the youths. He directed the Coordination Committee to take appropriate measures to control such things.
