A SERVICE TO HUMANITY - WE DESIRE NEITHER REWARD
NOR ACCLAIM
V - RECOGNITION OF THE WELFARE ACTIVITIES OF THE KKC
For nearly two decades, the way KKC is serving the poor and needy has been known not only by the public but leaders of different political and religious parties as well. Different governments have witnessed the 'Muft Bazaar', annual aid distribution of millions of rupees to thousands of poor and needy in Ramzan, several leaders have visited the KKC Centre and have seen the welfare activities with their own eyes. In 1991, the late Chief Minister of Sindh, Jam Sadiq Ali visited the KKC Centres and saw all the departments and witnessed the aid programmes. His sentiment towards the KKC are on record. Similarly, in September 1997, Shiekh Nasir Lotha of United Arab Emirates and the Consulate General of UAE Sheikh Zahi Lotha, visited the KKC Centre and saw the ambulance service, coffin carrier service, dispensary and other departments of KKC. They were also shown the aid programmes of the KKC. The Sheikh Nasir Lotha accepted that MQM's Khidmat-e-Khalq Committee is really providing service to the poor and needy persons without any discrimination.
