It was reiterated during the meeting that the MQM is a peace-loving political party, believes in democratic struggle and is against all sorts of terrorism.  To show its solidarity with the international community, the MQM Coordination Committee decided to hold, ”Rally Against Terrorism” in Karachi on 26 September 2001, with the participation of the people of Karachi and entire Sindh Province. The “Rally Against Terrorism” will start from Liaquatabad No 10 and will end at Regal Chowk Saddar in Karachi.  The MQM Coordination Committee has appealed to the workers and the public to participate in this Rally and show the entire world that they stand united and are against all sorts of terrorism.
