Reports of attacks by Haqiqi terrorists in no go areas

When MQM workers reached Landhi No 2 on their way to Malir they were attacked by Haqiqi terrorists.  On informing the police about the atrocity the police also beat them up with gun butts.  In this chaos the following workers of MQM have disappeared: Farooq, Faisal, Ahmed, Razzaq and Tahir.

Also in another incident in Landhi No 2 the following workers of MQM have received injuries: Irshad son of Nisar Ahmed, Nauman son of Abdul Rasheed, Abid son of Naimat Ullah, Anwar son of Haji Bashir, Khurram son of Shamshad Ahmed, Iftikhar son of Anwar Ali, Haroon son of Mumtaz Ali, Ishrat son of Sarwat Ali, Naeem son of Munsh Qureshi, Rehan son of Shams Uddin and Ubaid son of Ismail Khan.

NO GO AREAS IN KARACHI ABOLISHED
The work on Rehabilitations of over 1200 Displaced Families commenced in Landhi and other No Go Areas of Karachi

Karachi: A large number of displaced families have entered Landhi The “No Go Areas” of Karachi under the leadership of MQM Deputy Convenors Dr. Farooq Sattar, Ms. Nasreen Jalil, Mr. Shoaib Bukhari and Sheikh Liaquat Hussain.  The newly elected members of the Provincial Assembly also accompany them.  Four groups of families have been organised to enter Shah Faisal Colony, Korangi, Malir and Landhi.  A heavy contingent of police and Para-military Rangers is present to prevent any untoward incident.  The MQM is reoccupying their offices which were taken are by force on 19 June 1992, when the army installed Haqiqi terrorists on these areas.
