Mr. Altaf Hussain talks to Shahbaz Bhatti of Christian Liberation Front

Mr. Altaf Hussain, founder and leader of the MQM, had conversation with Mr. Shahbaz Bhatti, President Christian Liberation Front of Pakistan over the phone today. Mr. Shahbaz Bhatti thanked Mr. Hussain for sending his message for the Seminar organised by the Christian Liberation Front.
Mr. Hussain said that the MQM is committed to establish democracy in Pakistan, in letter and spirit, wherein all the citizens have equal opportunities and would enjoy their rights irrespective of their colour, creed, race, sex and religion.
Mr. Bhatti expressed his gratitude to the leadership of the MQM over its decision of not supporting the Shariat Bill. Mr. Bhatti also expressed the desire of his party to work with the MQM. He further said that the MQM is the only political party in Pakistan, which not only advocates protecting the rights of the oppressed and downtrodden masses but also the rights of the religious minorities. Mr. Bhatti also praised Mr. Altaf Hussain for his leadership and said that he believes that Mr. Hussain is the only patriotic leader of Pakistan who has the dedication and is committed to the struggle for the rights of the 98 percent poor and middle class people of Pakistan.
