Despite being in the coalition Government, more than 160 MQM workers and supporters have been ruthlessly murdered by the Haqiqi terrorists since the General Elections of 1997.

Furthermore, according to the information, the Haqiqi terrorists have planned another bloodbath on 19 June 1998, in connivance with the law enforcement agencies. The Haqiqi terrorists are planning to attack houses of MQM's elected members and to forcibly occupy the party offices on June 19. Recently, a huge quantity of sophisticated weapons had been provided to the Haqiqi terrorists by the law enforcement agencies. Our apprehensions about the plan are justified that a number of statements are issued by the leaders of Haqiqi terrorists where they have openly threatened to take-over the MQM offices in Karachi.
