SIX MORE INNOCENT MQM WORKERS AND SUPPORTERS INCLUDING A 26 YEAR OLD GIRL, RUTHLESSLY MURDERED IN THE LAST TWO DAYS BY THE HAQIQI TERRORISTS IN KARACHI

Karachi, May 31, 1998

In separate incidents, the Haqiqi terrorists under the protection of Paramilitary Rangers have ruthlessly murdered six Mohajirs, who were MQM workers and supporters, in different parts of Karachi.

A- On 30 May 1998, at around 11 p.m., Ms. Humera was visiting her relatives in Korangi and standing outside their house (G-671, Korangi, Karachi) when the Haqiqi terrorists opened indiscriminate fire upon her. She was shot in the chest and died on the spot. Her dead body was taken to the Jinnah Hospital, Karachi.

1- Humera: age: 26 year, daughter of Mohammad Ejaz Ahmed, resident of L-268, Sector 5, North Karachi, Karachi, a sympathizer of MQM Unit 137, Sector North Karachi. Her brother Ghufran is an active worker of the same unit.

B- On 29 May 1998, at around 9 p.m., the Haqiqi terrorists (Ashraf alias Stand Wala, Qadir alias Kala, Farhat alias Pappu, Aslam alias Takbeer Wala, Qayyum alias 4 Numberi) armed with lethal weapons attacked Ashfaq, Mounis and Atif, workers and supporters of MQM, while they were sitting outside their house. The Haqiqi terrorists fired several bursts of gunshots at them. Ashfaq and Mounis died on the way to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, while Atif's condition is still critical. This incident occurred in Block 16, Federal B. Area, Karachi.

Mohammad Ashfaq was a worker of MQM Unit 162, Liaquatabad. He had shifted his residence from Liaquatabad to Federal B. Area, Karachi, because of threats of the Haqiqi terrorists. In 1995 also, Ashfaq was seriously wounded by the Haqiqi terrorists in an attack. The Haqiqi terrorists murdered the Incharge of MQM Unit 162, Sikandar Pasha and a sympathizer Zubair in that attack.

2- Mohammad Ashfaq, age: 28 year, son of Mohammad Ishaque, a very active worker of MQM Unit 162, Sector Liaquatabad, Karachi, resident of 980/16, Federal B. Area, Karachi.

3- Mounis, age: 22 year, son of Abu Talib, a sympathizer of MQM Federal B. Area, Karachi, resident of 756/16, Federal B. Area, Karachi.

i- Atif, a sympathizer of MQM Federal B. Area, Karachi, resident of Federal B. Area, Karachi.

C- On 29 May 1998, at around 12 p.m., the Haqiqi terrorists attacked the house of Allah Dwaya and murdered him while he was sitting outside the house of his son.

4- Allah Dwaya, age: 60 years, son of Allah Bakhsh, resident of House No. 64, 35-B, J-Area, Gali 13, Korangi, Karachi, a sympathizer of MQM Unit 77, Sector Korangi, Karachi.

D- On 30 May 1998, at around 8 p.m., the notorious Haqiqi terrorist Fayyaz alias Chamber along with Ayaz Koti and others attacked the house of Abdul Razzaq, in F-South Area, Malir, Karachi. Abdul Razzaq is member of MQM Elders Wing Committee in Unit 95. They forcibly entered into the house and started beating Nadeem Ahmed and Mahmood Ahmed, the two sons of Abdul Razzaq. These terrorists then shot Nadeem Ahmed dead at the doorstep and Mahmood Ahmed a few yards away from the house. Abdul Mahmood was the father of three small children.

5- Nadeem Ahmed, age: 30 years, son of Abdul Razzaq, resident of FS-8, Jinnah Square, Malir, Karachi, a sympathizer of MQM Unit 97, Sector Malir.

6- Mahmood Ahmed, age: 34 year, son of Abdul Razzaq, resident of FS-8, Jinnah Square, Malir, Karachi, a sympathizer of MQM Unit 97, Sector Malir.
