BRUTAL TORTURE AND MURDER OF MQM WORKER SYED ASIF ALI AND HIS COUSIN KASHIF ALI BY HAQIQI TERRORISTS IN MALIR, KARACHI

Karachi. April 24, 1998

  1. Syed Asif Ali son of Rasheed Ali Khan, age: 22 years, married, resident of 56-BV-Village, Malir City, Karachi, a worker of MQM Unit 95, Sector Malir; and
  2. His cousin Kashif Ali son of Jamshed Ali Khan, age: 22 years, who was visiting Asif on holidays.

On 23 April 1998, in the evening, they were both going on motorbike (Reg. No. KAZ1350) when they were kidnapped by the Haqiqi Terrorists namely Waseem alias Bhutto, Ayaz alias Koti, Fayyaz alias Chamber and other. They were taken to the house of Hina, wife of Syed Asif Ali for identification. Their dead bodies were found on the morning of 24 April 1998, in Malir Area, near Shadman Town, Ice Factory, few hundred yards apart. It was apparent from the dead bodies that they were brutally tortured before shot dead at point blank range. Their arms and legs were broken, their teeth were broken and there were torture marks on the body. Both the bodies have been sent to Jinnah Hospital for post-mortem.

This is the fourth murder in a row in the last two weeks in Malir Area, by the State sponsored Haqiqi Terrorists. More than 130 MQM workers, supporters and their relatives have been ruthlessly and brutally murdered by the Haqiqi Terrorists under the protection of the Intelligence Agencies.
