SHC verdict negates propaganda against MQM; Altaf Hussain

KARACHI: The historic decision of Sindh High Court in Major Kaleem case has rejected the negativepropaganda perpetuated against Muttahida Qaumi Movement at internal and international level. This wasstated by the MQM Chief Mr.Altaf Hussain while addressing New Karachi workers of the party on Sunday. TheMQM would continue its struggle to eliminate the feudal lords' rule in the country and bring middle classpeople to the corridors of the power, Altaf reiterated.

Referring to the court's decision he said it proved that MQM was a peace loving and democratic party.Advising workers to continue struggle for betterment of the downtrodden, he congratulated the crowd thatevil forces were abolished and truth prevailed. In amidst clapping and slogans for the leader Altaf said it isthe success of the oppressed who were deprived of their rights despite being 98 percent in the society.

Altaf lauded the workers for remaining bonded and for facing hardships bravely during the worst operationagainst the party. He condemned that the oppressed people were labeled as coward by certain quarters. Hesaid propaganda was waged to create hatred against me but the baseless and unfounded cases finally werefound totally fake. He said: "The biggest crime of Altaf Hussain is that he started a campaign against corruptand exploitative forces who were bent upon crushing MQM." But, he claimed, that he did not surrender tothe corrupt system and was forced to live in self-exile. "Had I cooperated with the evil forces then aluxurious life in Pakistani would be my fate,"Altaf Hussain stated and added: "Apparently I am a poor man but rich inthe sense that hundred of thousands of people love me and this is something which all the wealth of theworld can not buy.

"Altaf Hussain asked party workers to keep spirits high and never to get emotional. He advised them to save theirenergy as revolutions demand continuous struggle not mere slogans.
