High Court vindicates Altaf Hussain, 18 others in Major Kaleem case

Karachi, February 6, 1998: A division bench of the Sindh High Court comprising Mr. Justice Nazim Hussain Siddiqui and Mr. Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar, acquitted all the nineteen MQM members, including the Founder and Leader of Mutathida Quami Movement, Mr. Altaf Hussain, on Friday morning.

Those acquitted included former Secretary General Dr.Imran Farooq, former central leader Saleem Shahzad, former Sindh Minister Dr. Safdar Baqri, Sector incharges Ashfaq Chief, Haji Jalal, and Jawed Kazmi from famous Major Kaleem case.
