Bureau Report

HYDERABAD, June 9: The Sindh minister for youth affairs and sports, Naeem Ishtiaque, has said that top priority would be given to resolve the problems of the poor people and through the Sindh Assembly efforts would be made to provide them more relief.

He was addressing a public gathering in the Haji Bux Parhiar village, union council Tando Haider, on Sunday. He said that the Muttahida Qaumi Movement was the party of the poor and it was striving to serve their cause without any discrimination.

He said the times had changed and the outdated Jagirdari system would not be allowed to spread its tentacles in interior Sindh. He said his party had decided to work in the villages because the poor villagers had even been deprived of basic human needs. He said jobs will be provided to educated youth strictly on the basis of merit.
