Mustafa Kamal as Young Global Leader 2010

Syed Mustafa Kamal former Mayor Karachi has been named a 2010 Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in recognition of the service and making Karachi a modern and developed city. World Economic Forum annually recognizes young leaders for their accomplishments and their potential impact.
 

The forum, based in Geneva, Switzerland, named 197 honourees this year from 72 countries. Drawn from a pool of almost 5000 candidates, the Young Global Leaders 2010 were chosen by a selection Committee chaired by H.M. Queen Rania Al Abdullah of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordon and comprised of eminent international media leader.

Syed Mustafa Kamal is the first in Pakistan’s history to be rewarded for the award for public service and tremendous services done for the making Karachi a modern city within the shortest possible time.
 

This year Young Global Leader celebration will be held in Tanzania and Mustafa Kamal will represent Pakistan that in the event – celebration.
 

Fonder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr. Altaf Hussain has extended his heartiest congratulations to Syed Mustafa Kamal former City Nazim of Karachi over his recognition being made all over the world including world economic forum prestigious organization of the world.

In his statement, Mr. Hussain stated that he was so happy to hear that a young worker of the MQM has given been such recognition which will give the name of Karachi Pakistan all over the world.
 

It may be noted that services of Mustafa Kamal has also been lauded in Houston Texas USA and Beijing China.
