ALTAF HUSSAIN PAYS HOMAGE TO THE MARTYRS

MQM Founder and Leader Altaf Hussain has paid homage to the martyrs of massacre of 30^th September 1988 in Hyderabad and 1^st October 1988 in Karachi. He said that the sacred blood of the martyrs will not go in vain and the movement based on righteousness will definitely reach its destiny through everlasting sacrifices of the people.
In a statement issued on the occasion of the anniversaries of the two tragedies Mr. Hussain said that Sindh was the land of peace, love and brotherhood.  A heinous conspiracy was plotted by the enemies of peace and Karachi and Hyderabad were soaked in blood on 30^th September 1988. He called it an attempt to shatter the unity of the people. He added that the conspiracy was failed because of the sagacity of the people who saw through it as an attempt to create hatred between Sindhi and Urdu speaking Sindhis.
He declared that Sindh will always remain the land of love and peace following the teachings of great saint Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai and all efforts at sowing the seeds of hatred in the people will fail. He paid rich tributes to the martyrs and prayed for their lofty positions.
