MQM TO TABLE LAND REFORMS BILL IN PARLIAMENT. Altaf Hussain

 

Karachi: 31st August 2010...MQM leader Altaf Hussain has said that his party will introduce a bill in the  parliament for abolishing  feudalism through land reforms. He was talking to MQM legislators on telephone at MQM headquarters Nine Zero. Addressing the parliamentarians Mr. Hussain said that it was time to  a limit maximum land holdings and if any one had land holdings greater than set up by the government; it should be distributed among poor farmers. 

Mr. Hussain directed the legislators to start working on the proposed bill and to collect The facts and figure about land holdings of big feudal lords. Mr. Hussain said that the landed aristocracy in the country had acquired most of the land through service to their imperial colonials masters. 

He further edit that the struggle of MQM against ending the medieval feudal system would not stop because Pakistan and feudalism cannot move together now. This is the only and ultmiate remedy to save the country. 

Mr. Hussain said that the corrupt politicians and feudal lords are feeling threatened because of his recent statement. and It is because they have started their vicious campaign against MQM. He said that the position of MQM is vindicated by support from the masses and want to free themselves from the clutches of jagirdari culture. 

Mr. Hussain said that the people were looking at MQM for the solution of their problems. They have now fully understood that MQM is the only political party that represents middle class people.
