FOUR MQM WORKERS INJURED IN KARACHI AS A RESULT OF FIRING OF ARMED TERRORISTS OF SECTARIAN ORGANISATION 

  Karachi...31 August 2004 Four MQM workers have been injured as a result of indiscriminate firing of armed terrorists of a sectarian organisation Sunni Tehreek in Liyari   and Ranchorline areas of Karachi. According to details on Monday night in Liyari Unit 31, armed terrorists of Sunni Tehreek opened indiscriminate firing upon MQM workers who were busy in the preparations of a corner meeting of party; on them. Four MQM workers Mohammad Adil, Mohammad Amjad, Mohammad Sharif and Mohammad Feeroz were seriously injured. Mohammad Amjad is in critical condition. Armed Terrorists of Sectarian organisation also attacked the houses of MQM workers in Ranchorline area in Karachi.

The Coordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has strongly condemned firing on MQM workers and said that these terrorists’ activities are part of a conspiracy to sabotage the peace and harmony in Karachi. Coordination Committee demanded to the Governor of Sindh Dr. Ishratul Ibad Khan and Chief Minister of Sindh Arbab Ghulam Raheem to take serious notice of these terrorists’ activities. Committee appealed to the workers and supporters to remain peaceful.
