MQM announced countrywide day of mourning
	LONDON: 7TH OCTOBER 2010
MQM Founder and Leader Altaf Hussain has condemned the
suicide attack on the shrine of famous Sufi saint Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi
and expressed deep sorrow at the martyrdom and injuries of several people.
He said that sometimes back the shrine of Hazrat Data Ganj Baksh in Lahore
was made a target of suicide attack and today the shrine of Hazrat Abdullah
Shah Ghazi in Karachi had been a target of terrorism and the visiting
devotees were washed in blood. He said that his heart wept at this gory
attack. While condemning the attack in the strongest possible terms, Mr.
Hussain said that those who have perpetrated this were enemies not only of
Islam and Pakistan but also of humanity. He said that the attackers are bent
upon destroying Pakistan and were not even sparing barbaric attacks on the
shrines of holy saints. Mr. Hussain condoled with the family of those who
had lost their lives and expressed his sympathy. He said that he and all the
workers of MQM shared their grief. He prayed for the early recovery of the
injured and demanded the authorities to provide security at the shrines of
saints and asked for utilizing all possible means to check the incidents of
	terrorism.
