MQM desires to give due positions to Artists in the society-- Altaf Hussain

Mr. Altaf Hussain, Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has stated that Artist, poets and writers are the important organs of our society who are performing key role in society building and MQM wish to give them their due position in the society.
Mr. Altaf Hussain was talking to Mrs. Khush Bukht Shujaat, famous compare of Pakistan and the former Vice President of Karachi Arts council who met him along with her husband Mr. Shujaat Baig at the MQM International Secretariat, London on Thursday, 12 October 2006.
Dr. Imran Farooq, Convenor MQM Co-ordination Committee, Senior Deputy Convenor Tariq Jawaid, Members; Saleem Shahzad, Mohammad Anwar, Mustafa azizabadi and Senator Ahmed Ali were also present in the meeting.
Ms. Khush Bukht Shujaat informed Mr. Hussain about the problems faced by the Artists and praised the efforts of the Governor of Sindh Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ibad inresolving their problems.
Mr. Altaf Hussain told them that MQM is struggling for a just system based on justice, where no one is discriminate on the basis of colour, cast, sect, language and religion and all citizen of the country should be treated in equality. He further said that no one can deny the importance of the Artists and people related to the field of arts and craft and MQM wish to give due positions to Artists in the society.
