Glamorous poetic evening was held under the auspicious of Muttahida Qaumi Movement at its International Secretariat in London with Mr. Prem Parkash, a senior journalist and Chief of the A.N.I news agency of India in chair. MQM Founder & Leader Mr Altaf Hussain also recited his poem, which was liked and appreciated by all.
Prominent poets of India, Birmingham, and
Pakistan including Mr Manzar Bhopali, Mr Tahir Faraz, Mr Azmat Baig, Mr Javaid
Kazmi, Mr Mustafa Azizabadi, Mr Qasim Ali Raza and Mr Faisal Subzwari presented
their poems in the Mushaira.
The audience included MQM Acting Convener Mr
Tariq Jawaid, Members of MQM Coordination Committee, Haq Parast Member of
National Assembly Mr. Nisar Panhwar, Provincial Assembly Members Mr Talib Imam
and Mr Jarar Haider.
Mr Manzar Bhopali stole the limelight of the
mushaira, which was deeply appreciated by the audience. He also recited poems
highlighting the struggle of Quaid-e-Tehreek Altaf Hussain.
Mr Prem Parkash in his brief address said
that such gathering would further strengthen the process of love, peace,
friendship and unity.
