1328 Bags of blood were collected in 4 days by Fatmid Foundation in Collaboration with MQM

Chairman Fatmid Foundation offer his gratitude to MQM’s Quaid Altaf Hussain

Fatmid Foundation collected 1328 bottles of blood from Karachi with full support and cooperation of Muttahida Quami Movement and its charity organization Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation. The chairman of Fatmid Foundation and the ex-governor of Sindh Province, Mr. Lieutenant General Retired Moin Uddin Haider send his heartiest gratitude to Mr. Altaf Hussain, the founder of MQM.  In his fax sent to Mr. Altaf Hussain at International Secretariat he wrote that from 8th to 11th October blood collection camp had been set up at Federal B Area, just beside the head office of Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation, in Landhi, Korangi, Shah Faisal Colony and Orangi Town. During that period the workers of KKF successfully collected 192 bags of blood from the camp situated near its Head office, 155 from Landhi, 151 from Korangi, 443 and 387 bottles from Shah Faisal Colony and Orangi Town respectively. Over all during these four days 328 bags had been collected with the help of MQM. All these donated blood collected from Karachi were sent to the Hospitals of Mansehra, Abbottabad and Shinkyari and PIMS Islamabad. Furthermore these donated blood bags would be sent to Hospitals of Peshawar, Lahore, Multan and Karachi, if needed. Fatmid Foundation’s Chairman offer his heartiest gratitude for the great and zealous efforts of Mr. Altaf Hussain to alleviate the earthquake affected people and hope that the collaboration of MQM and Mr. Altaf Hussain will continue in this regard.
