ARMED TERRORISTS GUN DOWN MQM WORKER IN KARACHI

On 2nd.December 1999, around 4.00 p.m. (PST), Mr Asif Kamal, an MQM worker of Unit no. 162 of Liaquatabad, Karachi was standing near a taxi at Block 9, Juaharabad, Karachi, where armed terrorists stopped their car and shot him from point blank range. He fell on the spot because of unprovoked firing and succumbed to his injury on his way to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. The details of the victim of the terrorism are as follows:

Mr Asif Kamal, S/O Mr Alhaj Kamal, 25 years and a resident of House no. 423, Block 6, Liaquatabad (opposite Firdaus Shopping Centre), Karachi

Previously, Asad Kamal, brother of the victim was also assassinated by the "Haqiqi" terrorists, namely, Tajuddin, Ashraf alias Standwala, Qadir, Sajid and others.

Today’s terrorism has rekindled the anger and grief amongst the Mohajir nation, not only in Karachi but also all over Sindh province.

The victim leaves behind a mourning family that includes parents, four brothers and three sisters.
