ALTAF HUSSAIN OFFERS MQM’S UNCONDITIONAL SUPPORT TO THE GOVERNMENT
AND ARMED FORCES IN THEIR ACT AGAINST TERRORISM AND TO SAVE PAKISTAN

London – 7th May 2009..To save Pakistan and to fight terrorism, the MQM Founder & Leader Mr Altaf Hussain has offered MQM’s unconditional support to the Government and the Armed Forces. Mr Hussain praised the Prime Minister’s address to the nation and termed it courageous. He offered Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani, his Government and the Armed Forces the unconditional support of the MQM. He assured the Government and leaders of Armed Forces that MQM will not only support the Pakistan Army at every step but will also pray for its success and progress. The MQM Coordination Committee, all its wings and each and every worker will support the Government in its fight to eliminate terrorism. He appealed to all the religious and political parties and their leaders to put aside their political differences and come forward to save the country and eliminate the terrorists; and support the Government and the Armed Forces. He expressed his hope that the country’s youth, elders, mothers, sisters and daughters will pray for the Government and the Armed Forces to Almighty Allah for the elimination of terrorism. The youth and students can spread this message within their educational institutions and respective areas. He paid tributes to the army personnel, frontier constabulary, paramilitary forces, police and high officials who have been martyred by the terrorists. He appealed to all to unite and come forward to support the Government and the Armed Forces. Amongst those who attended this session include Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul Ebad, MQM Deputy Convenor and Federal Minister Dr Farooq Sattar, Federal Minister Ports and Shipping Babar Khan Ghauri, City Nazim Mustafa Kamal, Members of Coordination Committee Mohammad Anwar, Tariq Mir, Saleem Shahzad, Asif Siddiqui, Anees Ahmed Qaimkhani, Asif Siddiqui, Anees Ahmed Advocate, Raza Haroon, Mustafa Azizabadi, Qasim Ali Raza, Aftkhawar Randhawa and other members of the International Secretariat were also present.
