HAQ PARAST ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES MUST RESPECT PEOPLES MANDATE,
RESOLVE THEIR ISSUES AND SERVE THE PUBLIC - ALTAF HUSSAIN

London - May 6, 2007: MQM Founder & Leader Mr Altaf Hussain has stated that peoples mandate must be respected and they should be served by their representatives. He was addressing a meeting at the MQM International Secretariat in London attended by MQM Convenor Dr Imran Farooq, Senior Deputy Convenor Tariq Jawaid, Deputy Convenor Dr Farooq Sattar, Members of MQM Coordination Committee Mohammad Anwar, Javed Kazmi, Asif Siddiqui, Mustafa Azizabadi, Federal Minister for Ports and Shipping Babar Khan Ghauri, Provincial Minister for Labour Adil Siddiqui, District Nazim Hyderabad Kanwar Naveed, District Naib Nazim Hyderabad Zafar Rajput and other office bearers. Mr Hussain said that people have given their mandate for the resolution of their issues, they have shown their confidence in us, therefore, it is our constitutional, moral and being a Pakistani - it is our responsibility that we respect this mandate and serve the people to our best ability. He reminded the elected representative to further improve their behaviour towards the members of public and the Movement. He also advised them to work in coordination for the resolution of pubic issues and development projects.
