Governor Sindh Dr. Ishrat Ul Ebad performed the opening ceremony for the launch of Mr. Altaf Hussain Book “50 years of Pakistan Independence, Kya Kohya Kya Paya.”  Dr Farman Fathe Puri presided the gathering.  Among a number of intellectuals, editors, professors and journalists, MQM MNA Haider Abbas Rizvi, in-charge of Coordination Committee Anwar Alam were also present.  Beside the governor Dr Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan the editors of Daily Amn Ajmal Dehlvi and daily Jang Mehmood Sham, intellectuals Jameel Uddin Aali, Pirzada Qasim, Mohammad Ai Sheikh, Khawaja Rafique Anjum, former provincial minister M A Jalil, former senator Mrs Nasreen Jalil, poets Professor Sahar Ansari, Zakia Ghazal, Haider Husnain Jalisi, Naqash Kazmi, Abraham Nafees, Professor Haroon Rashid, Parveen Alvi, Sohail Barkati, Nasiruddin Khan, Iftikhar Zaidi chairman board, Arif Shafiq Arif, Malik Sikandar Awan, Auj Kamal, Parveen Haider, Saifur Rehman Garami, Yawar Mehdi, Khush Bakht Shujat, Professor Anis Zaidi, Azfar Rizvi, Dr. Anwar Zaidi, Dr Khalid Mahmood, Professor Faheem Uddin, Fayyaz, Khalid Moin, Ferooz Barhan Puri, Abid Hussain Abid, A R Khan, Nusra Aziz Masoodi, Shamim Aalam, Hasan Zaheer, Mohammad Ayub, Saira Khatoon sister of Mr. Altaf Hussain founder and leader of MQM, MQM’s Coordination Committee, members of provincial and national assembly, senators, advisors, ministers, doctors, engineers, teachers, bureaucrats and the workers and office bearers of MQM’s wings participated in the ceremony.
