ANOTHER MOHAJIR WOMAN UNLAWFULLY ARRESTED IN THE REGIME OF NAWAZ SHARIF

Today at around 5.30 p.m., Liaquatabad Police raided the house of
Ms. Wasim Begum in Liaquatabad, Karachi, and arrested her on the
pretext that she was holding a meeting for the collection of
hides on the day of Eid-ul-Adha. The point to note is that under
Governor Rule in Sindh, the sanctity of the house of Mohajir
women is not safe. Brutal and corrupt police is making the life
of law abiding respectable Mohajir families unbearable in
Karachi.
Furthermore, it is to be noted that Ms. Wasim Begum 45, wife of Mahfooz Hussain is an office bearer of MQM Unit 163, Sector Liaquatabad.
