BASHEER QURESHI AND OTHER JSQM LEADERS MET WITH NASREEN JALIL AND AFTAB SHEIKH
MQM TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PEACEFUL DEMONSTRATION OF 25TH JUNE

A five-member delegation of JSQM led by Chairman Basheer Khan Qureshi met with MQM Deputy Convenor Nasreen Jalil and Sindh Interior Adviser Aftab Sheikh at the MQM Head Office on Friday.  The JSQM delegation comprised of Senior Vice Chairman Shafi Karnani, Vice Chairman Basheer Jamali, Deputy Secretary General Muhammed Rahimu and Coordinator Karachi Division Hakeem Nautyar.  Present on the occasion were MQM Member Sindh Assembly Arshad Shah and former member Sindh Assembly Wasim Akhtar and Salahuddin.

It was agreed that permanent settlers of Sindh will continue their joint struggle for the legitimate rights of Sindh Province and never hesitate to offer any sacrifice to protect Sindh’s interests.  JSQM leaders invited the Members of Coordination Committee to the peaceful demonstration against the Thal Canal Project on 25th June at the Karachi Press Club.  Ms Nasreen Jalil while accepting the invitation said that MQM is sincere in defending Sindh’s interests and will never accept any anti-Sindh plan.  She assured that the MQM would participate in the peaceful demonstration of 25th with full vigour.  JSQM leaders were briefed and invited to attend the Seminar that the MQM is organising against the construction of Thal Canal.  JSQM leaders appreciated the resolution adopted by Sindh Assembly against the construction of Thal Canal and expressed their sincere sentiments towards MQM Founder & Leader Altaf Hussain.
