STRUGGLE WILL GO ON TO ABOLISH THE OUTMODED FEUDAL SYSTEM FROM THE COUNTRY:  ALTAF HUSSAIN

London – 26 July 2004
On the occasion of the anniversary of Muttahida Quami Movement Mr Altaf Hussain the found and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement said in a message that we would continue to struggle till the abolishment of outmoded feudal system from the country.  He said since 56 years the country is strung under the clutches of the two percent privilege class feudal lords and the 98% poor peasants labours and the middle class people are governed by them.  He further said that before the inception of MQM, the assemblies were forbidden tree for the poor and middle class people.  MQM is the only political party who sent the poor and middle class people in local Councils, National and Provincial assemblies and Senate first time in the history of Pakistan due to which it has been proved that MQM not only speaks for the poor and middle class but also it is struggling practically. Mr Altaf Hussain said that was a state operation was commenced against the MQM to stop the revolution of poor and middle class people and to stop the righteous message of MQM from spreading throughout the country and to finish the MQM.  Due to this state operation against MQM, which was carried out for years, thousand of MQM innocent workers were martyred but they could not manage to finish the MQM.  Mohajir Quami Movement was changed to Muttahida Quami Movement on 26 July 1997 for countrywide struggle.

Due to the sacrifices of our martyrs the message of MQM is not only spreading in Sindh but also in Baluchistan, Punjab and North West Frontier Province.  Mr Altaf Hussain said to all the workers of MQM that today once again they must promise that in spite of all hardships, obstacles conspiracies they would continue to struggle for the abolishment of outmoded feudal system from the country.
