ALTAF HUSSAIN TO VISIT INDIA

ALTAF HUSSAIN, FOUNDER AND LEADER OF MUTTAHIDA QUAMI MOVEMENT (MQM) TO VISIT INDIA SOON-RABITA COMMITTEE

Mr Altaf Hussain, founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM), the third largest political party in Pakistan and the second largest in the province of Sindh is planning to visit India soon. This was disclosed in a press statement released by the Central Co-ordination Committee from London.

The Members of the Central Co-ordination Committee further stated that the time has now reached to begin a cordial relationship between Pakistan and India and cease enmity and hostilities. They further added that Mr Altaf Hussain’s “Peace Mission” in the form of goodwill visit would help bring the people of both countries closer and restore friendship, harmony and peace not only between both the countries but also in the region.

Elaborating further on the visit, the Members of the Co-ordination Committee added that Mr Altaf Hussain would be visiting the holy shrines “Dargah Sharif of Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia RH in Delhi and Khawaja Moinuddin Chishti RH in Ajmer Sharif”. They said that Mr Altaf Hussain had received repeated invitations from the custodians of both the shrines to come to India to pay homage to the revered saints but could not go due unavoidable engagements.

The Members of the Central Co-ordination Committee further stated that Mr Hussain would also visit Agra, his ancestral home and meet the leaders of the ruling and opposition parties including the leaders of the minority groups, intellectuals, members of the civil society and educational institutions.
