TARGET KILLINGS OF MQM WORKERS CONTINUES
Four MQM Office bearer Workers murdered in cold blood in Karachi

 

Karachi. 8th January 2010

Four MQM workers and office bearers have been murdered in cold blood in the past two days. All these incidents have been carried out by the terrorists and criminals belonging to Lyari Gang War, who have the support of certain elements within the coalition partners in the Provincial Government of Sindh. The Lyari Gang War and the notorious Peoples Peace Committee are one and the same. The Lyari is a stronghold of the Pakistan Peoples Party and this Gang has been granted total impunity to commit murder and mayhem in various parts of Karachi.

 

Details of incidents:

  1. Muhammad Amir son of Islam Uddin, a worker of MQM Unit 32, Sector Lyari in Karachi. His home address is LY-29/103, Juna Dhobi Ghaat, Badshahi Road, Lyari, Karachi. He has left behind his widow, a son and a daughter, three brothers and elderly parents.
  2. At around 1 am today, Mohammad Naeem son of Abdul Aziz, a worker of MQM Unit UC 3-A, Kharadar, was kidnapped from near his house in Nia-abad. Later his body was recovered in a bag. He was 24 years old and unmarried. He has left behind five brothers, four sisters and elderly parents. His home address is Ghulam Rasool Manzil, Bughdadi Thana, Karachi.
  3. In another incident Khair-ul-Bashar son of Muhammad Usman, a worker of MQM Keamari Sector, was kidnapped from his residence at around 10 pm and later his body too was recovered from Kharadar. He was 22 years old and unmarried, He has left behind five brothers and three sisters. He was a resident of Pak Muslim Muhammadi Colony, Maripur Road, near Babri Masjid, Karachi.
  4. Another MQM worker Munawwar alias Guddo son of Akram, resident of Lines Area Karachi, was kidnapped while on his way to work near Sher-Shah. He was brutally tortured and murdered.
  5. Syed Mustehsan Zaidi, age 50 years, a worker of MQM Unit 124 Sector Orangi Town in Karachi, was sitting outside his fast food shop in Orangi No 11 when two terrorists riding on a motorcycle identified him and opened fire from close range. He received four bullet wounds which were fatal and he died on the spot.
  6. Arshad son of Shafiq, a resident of Liaquatabad and one Aqeel and his son, relatives of MQM worker Shehzad of Unit 94, have been seriously injured.

 

More than 76 innocent MQM workers have been brutally murdered last year and around 18 in the last two months. The incidents of target killings have increased manifolds and the perpetrators have been identified belonging to the Lyari Gang-War and the Haqiqi terrorists.
Meanwhile MQM Coordination Committee strongly condemned brutal murdered of MQM Office bearer and workers and demanded to the Government to take serious notice and arrest the terrorists of Lyari Gang War.
