  members of National and Provincial assemblies at Islamabad

  The way MQM has accepted 
  mandate of all political parties similarly the other
 parties should accept the mandate of MQM Dr. Farooq Sattar

  Sattar, Deputy Convenor of the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) had a meeting 
  with American Ambassador N.W.Peterson today. MQM’s newly elected members of 
  National and Provincial Assemblies Hyder Abbas Rizvi, Iqbal Mohammad Ali, 
  Abdul Waseem and Mohammad Raza Haroon were with Dr. Farooq Sattar, Terry 
  Gouzalez, political officer and Dr. Elizabath Kallton, Press attaché were 
  present with American Ambassador.
   
  In this meeting discussion were held on General 
  Election, political situation of Pakistan , formation of government, political 
  stability in the country and different matters of mutual interest. The 
  American Ambassador congratulated MQM leader Mr. Altaf Hussain and all newly 
  elected assembly members with heavy mandate and also praised the performance 
  of MQM for the progress and stability of political situation. She also praised 
  the positive efforts and statements of Mr. Altaf Hussain.
   
  After the meeting while talking to media 
  American Ambassador N.W. Peterson said that people have given heavy mandate to 
  MQM and we congratulate them. She said America respects the mandate of all 
  elected parties and wants to work with all democratic forces for the political 
  stability. Dr. Farooq Sattar who was present, also talked to media and said 
  the way MQM has accepted the mandate of all political parties similarly other 
  political parties considering the democratic norms should accept and respect 
  the mandate given to the MQM.
