PAKISTAN IS IN DANGER AND FACING A CRITICAL SCENARIO

Pakistan is in danger and facing a critical scenario. The anti State elements benefit from this scenario and committing terrorist activities to destabilize Pakistan. MQM Founder & Leader Mr Altaf Hussain stated this at the MQM International Secretariat in London while commenting on the geopolitical situation of the South Asia Region. MQM Convenor Dr Imran Farooq, Members of MQM Coordination Committee, Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan, Federal Minister for Ports and Shipping Babar Ghauri, Sindh Provincial Minister for Labour and Industries Adil Siddiqui and City Nazim Karachi Mustafa Kamal were attended the meeting.

 

During the meeting Mr Hussain praised the sincere and affective measure of the Government, particularly Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat Ul Ebad, Provincial Advisor for Home Department, Haq Parast Ministers, City Nazim and his entire team, to ensure and maintain peace and harmony during the month of Moharram ul Haram. He warned that the risk is still present therefore we must remain alert, keep an eye on anti State elements and use our capabilities and competence to provide safety and security to the citizens. He said that improvement in the law and order situation is the key to inviting foreign investment. Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat Ul Ebad informed the meeting that the Federal and Provincial Governments and the religious scholars have commended the MQM efforts to promote peace, brotherhood and sectarian harmony. Mr Hussain also praised the huge developmental work carried out in Karachi and there speedy progress. He particularly paid tributes to the City Nazim Mustafa Kamal, his team and all the officials of the City Government for completing these developmental projects in time. He warned that as a result of global warming the threat of sea storms has increased therefore efforts should be made to ensure to provide safety and security to the citizens and to improve the sewerage system. He also appealed to the Federal Government to support the City Government in the completion of projects and to provide more and more provincial autonomy because this will strengthen the country. He stressed upon the Haq Parast representatives to serve the people and work in coordination.
