WE WILL PEACEFULLY STRUGGLE FOR THE ATTAINMENT OF THE RIGHTS OF THE LAND OF SINDH AND FOR THE RIGHTS OF OUR SINDHI BROTHERS – MOHTARMA FAIZA ALTAF

Mohtarma Faiza Altaf, wife of MQM Founder and Leader Mr Altaf Hussain, while addressing a gathering of Sindhi journalists, intellectuals, writers, MQM office bearers and workers at Mirpurkhas, has stated that the time has come for us to decide whether we want such a democracy where we are persistently robbed and deprived of our rights or do we want a democracy where we have our rights such as the right to self-rule, the right to lead our life according to the culture, custom and tradition of the Sindh, the Land of Shah Abdul Lateef BhitaiRH.

Mohtarma Faiza Altaf emphasised that we will not live our lives according to the mental attitude and the feudalistic society and the medieval social structure, prevailing for the past 54 years of Pakistan history.  She assured that we are going to stand for our rights and being the daughter of Sindh, she would also stand with the people of Sindh in their united and collective struggle.  She said that we would peacefully struggle for the attainment of the rights of the Land of Sindh and for the rights of our Sindhi brothers.  She said that we hope one day very soon we will reach our destination and would certainly attain what we are striving for, which is the rights of Sindh province, the rights of impoverish people of Sindh, the Land of Shah Abdul Lateef BhitaiRH.
