RANGERS TAKE UP CASE
COPS GANG RAPE WOMAN

SOME police constable kidnapped a young house wife, gang raped her and escaped leaving her near her house in Nasir Colony in Korangi police station area.

The police refused to register case. The Rangers however intervened on the complaint of the husband and got the victim medical examined in Jinnah Hospital and started investigation.

According to the husband contingent of police of Korangi police station conducted block raid in Nasir Colony early last night. During block raid they conducted house-to-house search for criminals. During search, they asked a married woman to accompany them. The cops allegedly took her an isolated place and allegedly gang raped her and left her near her house an about 4 a.m. in semi-concious condition.

The husband went to Korangi police station to lodge report but police on duty there did not entertain his complaint and asked him to leave the police station under severe threat.

He later contacted Rangers office in the area and narrated the story. Rangers issued a slip and sent the victim of rape to Jinnah hospital for medical examination. The Rangers have taken up the case and started investigation.

The cops involved are stated to be absconding. No arrest has so far been made.
