MAY ALLAH ALMIGHTY MAKE THE NEW YEAR, THE YEAR OF ACCOMPLISHMENT OF JUST, DESIRES AND INFINITE HAPPINESS – ALTAF HUSSAIN

Mr Altaf Hussain, Founder and
Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) conveying his best
wishes on the New Year to the entire people of the country,
including the religious minorities, prayed that may Allah
Almighty fill the New Year with infinite happiness for them. He
wished them that may the New Year be the year of achievement of
their just longing (Ameen).
Mr Altaf Hussain prayed to Allah Almighty for such a miracle in
the New Year that would end drought and famine from the country
and be the source of the provision of food including bread,
pulses, rice, vegetables, meat, milk, electricity, oil, petrol,
medicines including medical facilities to the ninety-eight per
cent people belonging to the middle class and down trodden
segments of the population. He also prayed for the eradication of
the escalating cost of living, unemployment, starvation and
environment of suicide. He also wished for the abolishment
of class system, where one is considered superior while the other
as inferior.
Mr Altaf Hussain prayed for the provision of impartial and fair
justice, equal treatment to all, independent judiciary free from
executive control, establishment of true democracy in the country
and the change in the system of governance instead of the change
of faces.
Mr Altaf Hussain prayed for the religious and sectarian
tolerance, placement of honest and judicious people at the helm
of affairs of the country, provision of women rights and
redressal of the grievances of all the provinces. He wished
for the establishment of a just system wherein ethnicity only
serves as the symbol of identification to ensure that the concept
of one nation and pluralism strengthens.
Concluding his New Year wish and message, Mr Hussain wished all
the countrymen including the journalists, intellectuals, writers,
artists, actors, sportspersons, all the nations, lawyers,
respectable educationists, students, traders, businessmen,
industrialists, farmers, peasants, labourers, rights movements
and those engaged in the rights movements, the grieved families
of the martyrs, detained prisoners of conscience, displaced
families, families of the “Disappeared Persons", those
living in exile, all the colleagues and workers of MQM and all
the Pakistanis living in any part of the world a happy New Year
and prayed to the Almighty Allah for the accomplishment of their
just desires and longings in the New Year (Ameen).
